SmartGabah — Rice-Farming Profitability DSS

Problem

Rice farmers need a simple way to judge whether a planting season is worth the cost — under a lecturer’s research project on farm decision support.

Solution

Helped build the SmartGabah prototype: per-kilo cost breakdown (seed, fertilizer, labor, land), harvest-to-rice conversion, farmer vs government margin policy, trader-price monitoring with market-operation alerts, and crop-failure loss estimates. Static, fast, usable on low-end phones — now deployed live.
